My Favourite Projects

One of my assignments for my Elearning Master’s is to create an ePorrfilo, and this is an excellent example of how to approach this task. Found this post via the About Me page, which was shared on LinkedIn (when doing work for another assignment), and I find this really useful. Dublin Castle Young Writers Group

While volunteering with Fighting Words, I often supervised “Write Club”, which was an after-school and weekend club for teenagers who wanted a creative space to pursue their own creative writing. I enjoyed this experience but thought it would be great to take this one step further and have the young writers share their work and provide feedback on each others’ work.

When I started working in Dublin Castle, I organised a writing workshop for teenagers interested in writing historical fiction inspired by Dublin Castle. The workshop involved a tour of the castle followed by a creative writing workshop, after which they were encouraged to share their work. This was the first education event I organised in Dublin Castle and I was very pleased with how it went.
